Harry
C. Boghigian, the founder of Pharma Consultants, has a long and
impressive career in the pharmaceutical industry. His experience
began as a sales representative in New England where he called on
physicians, hospitals, medical centers, pharmacies and clinical
laboratories. His selling experience included not only prescription
products but also interactive educational training programs, clinical
laboratory testing services and physician medical record systems.
His
success propelled him to Division Manager where he and his team
were
responsible for launching the world's #1 injectable antibiotic.
His successful management style caught the attention of senior management
and he was quickly promoted to manager of Market Research where
he managed a team of analysts. His career continued to enjoy many
accomplishments that led to numerous promotions within the organization.
He developed extensive marketing experience domestically and internationally,
as a Product Director, Group Director and ultimately as a Global
Business Representative.
His
expertise in co-promotion arrangements, new product development
and global marketing across numerous therapeutic areas contributed
to his record of successes.
He was appointed General Manager and Sr. Vice President of the Hoffmann-La
Roche Canadian affiliate where he reorganized the company, revitalized
revenues from marketed products and launched several new products
leading to an overall increase in sales of eighty-two percent. US
management, impressed with his accomplishments, invited him to rejoin
the US organization in order to design and execute a new business
model. Successful execution of this model and the launch of several
products propelled him to Vice President of US Marketing. He again
was responsible for reorganizing and building a first class organization.
He established several new departments ranging from direct to consumer
advertising to new product planning and development. Successfully
increasing sales twenty percent annually led him to Vice President
Business Operations. In this position, he was responsible for ten
business units covering one-half of the United States. As a member
of the Operating Committee, he served on numerous senior level decision
making boards and committees until his departure in 2001 when he
established Pharma Consultants.
His
extensive experience, knowledge and breadth of contacts within the
industry enable him to address the numerous business needs of his
clients. As President of Pharma Consultants, he shares his vast
industry knowledge and experience with his clients enabling them
to reach their individual corporate goals.
